Bears Den is a cozy, and very comfy chalet getaway, for up to 8 guests. Situated on large beautiful grassy lot on the banks of the always popular Fish Lake, with a shallow private dock and fabulous stone fire pit for those winter months, this little getaway will not disappoint. A family retreat, guys getaway, or a just a quiet weekend for 2, the Bears Den is the choice for you.
An ample sized mud room as you enter the house, is a great place to keep your fishin poles, hiking gear, or what have you, as you spend your retreat exploring and experiencing all of the natural wonders of the Lake Wenatchee/Fish Lake area.
A charming kitchen with all of the necessary amenities for your cabin cooking is on the main floor of the chalet, as well as, a full bathroom with bathtub, w/d, and dining/sitting area with a beautiful view of the lake. You also have access to a large outdoor deck with cozy furniture, offering a fantastic opportunity to read that book as you watch the fisherman out on the lake, or enjoy that morning cup of joe as you are privvy to watching the otters play in the lake.
Upstairs you will find a private sleeping nook with both a comfy queen bed mattress on the floor, and a twin mattress on the opposite side, of the room. Access the downstairs family area by a wrought iron spiral staircase, where you will discover a cozy TV area with a LCD flat screen with DVD player for those movies you just haven't had a chance to watch yet, with both a comfy sofa and a queen sofa sleeper to sit around and relax. The 2nd bedroom offers a queen bed, with dresser and nightstand, while the 3rd bedroom has a beautiful twin over full bunk bed, and there is also a 2nd bathroom with shower.
Another outdoor area is discovered through the lower level, boasting of a propane BBQ and an outdoor dining area with table for up to 6 guests to gather round and enjoy grilling up the catch of the day.
