• Head East on Hwy 2 over Stevens Pass
• Once you are over the pass you will turn Left on HWY 207 towards Plain (this is at least 10 miles before Leavenworth)
• Go 3.7 miles
• Turn Right onto Beaver Valley Rd toward Plain
• Go 4.9 miles
• Turn right onto Beaver Valley Rd/W-209/Camp 12 Rd toward Plain
• Go .4 miles
• You will be in Plain, and there is the Plain hardware store and the general store. Right after this you will make a left.  The road will go either straight or left.
• Make a left onto Chumstick Road
• Go 4.7 miles
• Turn Left onto Merry Canyon Road - this road is partially paved then it turns into a gravel road
• Go 2.1 miles
• The Merry Cabin is on the left and the address 9850 is on a blue tag nailed to a tree
• The drive time from Bellevue is about 2 hours and 20 minutes

FROM HWY 2 EASTBOUND OVER STEVEN’S PASS:

TAKE A LEFT AT HWY 207 (LAKE WENATCHEE STATE PARK/FISH LAKE TURNOFF) PROCEED SEVERAL MILES AND GO OVER THE WENATCHEE RIVER BRIDGE, THE ROAD WILL “Y”, VEER TO THE RIGHT ONTO CHIWAWA LOOP ROAD, PROCEED APPROX. 4-5 MILES, TAKE A LEFT ONTO PINE TREE ROAD (THIS IS ACROSS FROM THE FIRE STATION) TAKE THE FIRST LEFT ONTO SALAL DRIVE AND FOLLOW THE ROAD UP THE HILL TAKING A RIGHT AT “TAMARACK CREST RD”  GO TO THE “T” AND TAKE A RIGHT AND YOU WILL SEE YOUR GETAWAY CABIN JUST AT THE END OF THE CUL DE SAC.   2468 SALAL

FROM HYW 2 WESTBOUND FROM BLUETT PASS OR WENATCHEE:

From Highway 2 Eastbound:

Take a left onto Hwy 207 (Lake Wenatchee State Park/Fish Lake). Turnoff is approximately 2 miles past the rest stop on Hwy 2. Then follow the directions below from the second step...

From Highway 2 Westbound:

Take a right onto Hwy 207 (Lake Wenatchee State Park/Fish Lake). Turnoff is across from a gas station, espresso stand, and the Squirrel Tree restaurant. If you reach the 59er Diner you've missed the turn.

- Follow Hwy 207 approximately 3.6 miles then turn right onto Beaver Valley Rd (Hwy 209) toward the town of Plain.

- In approximately 4.9 miles as you approach the town of Plain you will come to a sharp right turn, (essentially a "T" in the road) Chiwawa loop road takes off to the left, Beaver Valley Road continues to the right. Follow Beaver Valley Road to the right.

- Immediately after the "T" watch for a road on the right.

- Take this first right onto Chapel Drive. (If you reach Napeequa Vintners Winery and Plain Hardware you've missed the turn, go back to Chapel Drive, now on your left).

- Go one block and take a left onto Alpine Acres Road.

- Take the first driveway on the left. Alpine Acres Lodge is at the end of the driveway on the right side at...

The Pine Chalet

• Take either of the floating bridges (I-90 or 520) to I-405 North.
• Exit at 522 East (to US HWY 2). Take 522 east until it ends at US HWY 2 in Monroe.
• Turn Left at light onto US HWY 2.
• Continue east on 2 (Stevens Pass HWY) through Sultan, Index, Gold Bar, to Stevens Pass for approximately 1 hour. Continue over Stevens Pass on US HWY 2 for another twenty minutes to WA-207. ****LANDMARK ALERT*** ACROSS FROM GAS STATION AND ESPRESSO STAND***
• Turn left at WA-207 The turnoff is approximately 2 miles past the rest stop.
• Follow for 4.3 miles travel across the Wenatchee River  bridge the road “Y’’s  after the bridge, veer to the left staying on Hwy 207
• Follow approximately 1 mile and take left onto North Shore Drive (YMCA sign is marker)
• Go 1.5 miles on North Shore Drive and follow until you reach Telemark Lane on your right hand side, turn right onto Telemark Lane
• Follow Telemark Lane until you reach the end of the cul-de-sac
• Take gravel driveway in front of you on your left.  Go to the cabin at the top of the gravel road on your left

Driving directions from Hwy 2 West: Take Hwy 2 (West) towards Leavenworth from Bluett Pass, go through Leavenworth up the canyon (15 minutes) and then take a right at Hwy 207 (Lake Wenatchee State Park/Fish Lake Turnoff), follow above directions from there.

Winter Parking:

Do not park by the garage area in the winter.  The driveway is too steep and slippery.  At the end of Thoroughbred Lane, there is a designated parking area marked by two neon colored posts.  Stay out of the cul-de-sac loop as you will be towed.  The area is for emergency vehicle turnaround and snow plow turnaround.  This area can accommodate only two vehicles in the winter.

Turn left onto Hwy 209 (Chumstick/Plain). About 12-14 miles, you will go down Beaver Hill Rd (steep, many switchbacks). At bottom of hill, road will straighten out, turn left onto Camp 12 road. This road leads into Ponderosa Estates. Set trip meter! 1.5 miles from Camp 12 Road to Colt Road, turn right. Follow Colt Road onto Stirrup Road which will bring you to a “T”. Go left at “T” onto Saddle Road. Moosehead Cabin is approximately ¼ mile down Saddle Road on right side.

From Seattle:
Heading East over Stevens Pass on Hwy 2 towards Leavenworth. Take a left at Lake Wenatchee exit. Go about 3 miles until you see Plain exit, take right. Follow road past the Plain Grocer, and Plain Hardware store. This will veer off to the left, you want to go straight onto Camp 12 road. Set trip meter! 1.5 miles from Camp 12 Road to Colt Road, turn right. Follow Colt Road onto Stirrup Road which will bring you to a “T”. Go left at “T” onto Saddle Road. Moosehead Lodge is approximately ¼ mile down Saddle Road on right side.
