Great stay. Awesome lake location in the cascades, short drive to Steven's Pass Ski Resort, Levensworth, and Wenatchee. Lots to do. Hot tub was great, amenities were nice. Would definitely go back.

I wanted to get the group together to try our hand at fishing on Fish Lake near Leavenworth. the place checked all the boxes so I booked it. Comfy Cabins did not disappoint. great place and location . hot tub was clean and comfy. the grill was like new. Plenty of the essentials stocked to make sure I could prepare a couple great meals. over all a wonderful experience. I think the lake is better in early summer tho. but good times were had by all

Beautiful property! Lake was not as clean as we thought (couldn\'t swim), but great for paddle boarding, fishing, and enjoying the view from the dock! Kids loved the game room downstairs. Great views and tons of fun! Loved our stay!

Even better than the pictures. So pretty and we loved swimming in the lake on a hot day. Sunsets beautiful, lots of fun things - hot tub, deck with a view, outdoor gas fireplace, games inside, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen. We loved being close enough to Leavenworth with also having a place to retreat to and enjoy. We would definitely go here again and stay longer.

Nice place with a beautiful waterfront location! It did get windy here from time to time and evenings got cold during our visit, so recommend packing an extra layer just in case. We were easily able to park 3 vehicles here, even though the listing says 2 cars. Hosts said they do that because winters can make the sloped driveway a little trickier.

The Perfect Getaway!

My boyfriend and I had been working non-stop for almost two months with very few days off. We were looking for a getaway for fishing, relaxing, eating, and letting the dogs play. The house was too big for two people but we booked last minute and this was one of the few options that were left. We were not disappointed! What a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy fishing on your own private dock. Watching the otter swim by each morning and evening was the sweetest surprise! It felt like home and we never wanted to leave. I booked over the phone the morning before and they cut us a deal on the price since we wouldn\'t be using all of the beds. The gal I talked to was very sweet and helpful. Check in was smooth with no issues. The house was clean and so cozy. We will be booking with NW Comfy Cabins again, without a doubt.

This property is just about everything you could want for a Winter wonderland. The house is beautiful but full of lots of stairs so be ready. My kids loved it. The hot tub overlooks the lake and beautiful trees. We loved this property so much we want to stay again in the summer to see the Beaty it offers then as well. BUT if staying in winter be carful if the driveway in snow. Very steep and may require you to park near top and walk everything in. We got stuck trying to get out. Rating the property well for sure just be aware

We really enjoyed our stay at the Otter Chalet. Our favorite part was the view of the lake. We even got to see otters swimming in the lake. NW Comfy Cabins was really responsive to all of our questions before and during our stay. The beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. There were a few minor issues while we were there, but upon letting the management company know, they made an effort to resolve it quickly. The only downside was that the hot tub was lukewarm which we unfortunately didn't realize until our last night, but I'm sure they would have tried to check it for us otherwise. Ultimately it was a really quiet, nice and relaxing getaway for our family and we wouldn't hesitate to return!

the location was fantastic. however, the cabin left alot to be desired: the linens were not clean and had loose, long strands of hair all over them left over from the previous renter. The kitchen supplies were disorganized and thrown all over inside the cabinets. We tried to put together puzzles, but all of them had missing pieces and there was a lot of long hair inside those boxes as well. We visited the cabin in winter and there were no sleds so we purchased one and left it there, hoping maybe the next family would be able to have fun with it.

Excellent time at the Otter Chalet. We have stayed there 4 times over the last 4 years. Very nice cabin, with lots of flowers and birds to photograph. So our stay here had been delayed twice from April, to May to June due to the mandatory shelter in place order from our future ex-Governor. I found myself almost certainly overhyping this place in my mind but when we finally made it, it exceeded our expectations. And the timing couldn't have been better because the weather was perfect and we managed to miss all the rioting/looting in Seattle/Renton while we were away.

Staying in this location was the very definition of Serentity. We didn't really leave the property much, we just cooked a lot, spent time on the dock and had a very relaxing time.

My experience here was so good, that I found myself feeling slightly distressed about going back to work with no vacation to look forward to, so I ended up booking the Chiwawa River Chalet for 5 nights this August to celebrate my birthday. Same friends are coming with and I suspect it will be another transcendent experience. Thank you.

We arrived on Monday Memorial Day and started our adventure. This is the fourth time we have stayed at Otter Chalet. Tuesday was very windy but we survived. Wednesday and Thursday were beautiful days very still and the lake was like a mirror. Lots of photos of the humming birds and osprey and Bald Eagles. The cabin was in pretty good shape other than some garbage left and utensils not cleaned, not to mention the poor cleaning if any on the Bar-B-Q. Other than that it was just like we remember from last year. We were sorry to hear that it is for sale and probably won't be able to stay there any more. We do have reservations at Otter Chalet in July, and will enjoy probably our last stay there. The staff at Comfy Cabins is just awesome. We have been working with them since 2015, and they always bend over backwards for us. They are working with us already for our July stay in 2021. Couldn't be more pleased with a cabin rental company. Thanks so much.

We had a great time as usual at Fish Lake. We have stayed there for five years with the great staff at ComfyCabins. The weather was great and, and we love being in the mountains where there are no fireworks. Are dogs also love staying here, it a nice change for them from the heat of the Tri-Cities. We have recommended this area and ComfyCabins to several of our friends. I know they would enjoy the lake as much as we do.

I am so sorry and I wish you had reached out. There were a full load of towels still in the dryer. It was drying slow and had to run it twice. Normally cleaners will leave a note if something like that happens but might have forgotten. Our phone numbers are posted for any needs that arise so that we can assist in these cases. VERY NICE AND EXTREMELY CLEAN.
I LIKE TO FISH AND THE LOCATION TO THE WATER IS GREAT BUT THE PATH DOWN TO THE DOCK NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. STEPS? LITTLE WIDER? MOST OF YOUR RENTERS DON'T NEED THAT I AM SURE, BUT US PONTOON GUYS ARE NUTS AND USED THE DOCK EVERY DAY.

I will most definitely pass this along and ask them to widen the path. It is a great cabin and so many people enjoy the lake and dock and love to come back year after year. We are glad that you enjoy it as well.

We had an awesome time playing in the snow. The rental is excellent. So much so that my older daughter has made it clear that we are to rent Otter lodge and ONLY Otter lodge next year.

the cabin is amazing! loved the set up and the view was the best part. I wasn't happy with the dishes being dirt I had to wash the pans and a few of the plates had food on them and a couple forks. I think the cleaners didn't look at them and put them away dirty.There are a ton of flies downstairs. I mean a lot! I would have loved a broom! but, now know Ill bring one next time! I am hoping to visit this winter! all that said this is my favorite cabin we have stayed at! we have stayed at a lot of cabins up there.

Steve, thank you for the information, it is helpful to know what needs attention or replacing. I wish that we could ensure that guests would not mistakenly put away dirty dishes, the girls do try to watch for that and if they have to wash them, they put them in the dishwasher and come back to put them away after they are properly run through. I have not heard anything about flies before so I am guessing it was an issue that was related to a fish clean or something, I am so sorry that was part of your stay and that you had to experience that. We will get a new broom purchased and on site for guest use, that would be frustrating and we do have them, so it will be replaced right away. You can always contact us and most often we can take care of things like that very quickly. It is nice that you still found the cabin to be a favorite and we are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay despite some items of concern. We will address these things and thank you for the heads up.

Very nice location on the lake. The kitchen and towel supplies were very good, plenty pots,pans and silverware etc. The weather was very hot and the portable air conditioners could barely keep up so it was a little warm but not so bad it was uncomfortable. Unfortunately in hot weather the lake becomes an algae pond so the kids could not get in to swim. Overall it is a nice comfortable cabin for a couple of families.

Mike, Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to know that you had so much of what you needed at the cabin and available for you. The owner has added several more AC units so there are 4 in the cabin now that make a real difference, especially when the doors and windows are left closed. It can be hard with kids to remind them of that, but it sure is worth the effort on those hot days. The lake is most certainly best suited for fishing. Even when the algae appears you can splash in it and drag your feet from the boat, but I agree, the algae just makes it seem like not a swimmers lake. There are so many other aspects that are worth being on that lake though and it is a popular and wonderful place to stay, as you said. We are very happy you enjoyed your time and thank you for being our guests.

My husband and two kids age 4 and 6 stayed with another family whose kids weee about the same age. Otter Chalet was perfect for us! We went to Fish lake last year but found it difficult to find easy spots to fish. Here we were able to just walk down to our private dock and fish and easily get into our inflatable boats. Although we did not catch anything we had the best time trying. We loved using the outdoor fire pit and roasting marshmallows. The cabin was large enough that our two families never felt like we got in each other’s way and had our privacy. The cabin was also a short drive to Leavenworth which we all really enjoyed. Thanks for a great stay we look forward to returning!

Again, we enjoyed our stay but it was too short. Hey can youu calm the wind for us fishermen? The house, Clean and perfect. one issue; I have NO computer skills and could not figure out signing the contract and door code info. For us "over 70" would there be a way to make this easier. The house, Clean and perfect. one issue; I have NO computer skills and could not figure out signing the contract and door code info. For us "over 70" would there be a way to make this easier. First off the management company was a dream to work with and the cabin itself was cute, clean (not the most comfortable beds though) and had a great dock. The disappointment was that there were no kayaks or canoes or anything to help utilize the dock and the lake -you had to pack all your own stuff in. After staying at places like Seabrook that have bikes and hot tubs and sand toys and other things to make your stay more enjoyable this was definitely a bit on the bare bones side.

The house was spacious and had all kitchen utensils you would need including some foil and some basic spices. There was enough space for our family to spread out. The dock fishing was great, and we used the fire pit almost every night. The only cleaning issue we had was the top room with the twins smelled of strong urine. Because this place is pet friendly, I bet a prior guest's pet peed somewhere in the room and it still had that strong ammonia smell. I tried airing the room out, but it didn't help. I notified comfy cabins, and they mentioned they would relay to the owners to have it addressed for future guests. There wasn't much that could be done while we were there, so we did our best to manage around it. All other rooms were fine and didn't have that smell. The house is also stocked with many blankets to stay warm when chilly. But we had no problem with the house heat. We drove up to Leavenworth for a half day, but other than that, just fished the lake.

This is a spacious cabin with appropriate supplies and a fabulous lake-front location and view. The stairs and floors are very creaky/loud however, so guests with different bedtimes/wake times may be woken up very easily. The septic pump is very loud to the bottom floor guests every time a toilet is flushed or when the dishwasher or washing machine are run.

We had a wonderful time at this lake front cabin. Amazing views of the surrounding Cascade Mountains and Fish Lake. Great location with the Midway Country store close by and The Cove Resort with boat ramp and parking 5 mins. away. The fishing was Awesome, exclaimed our 8 year old Grandson. We wil definitely come back. Kellie was exceptionally helpful with landing the reservation for us. Thank you for a great experience.

Cabin is warm and clean and relaxing. It is right on the lake which is frozen over in winter. The layout is perfect for a family with kids of all ages. Our teenagers loved having the downstairs to themselves with a nice tv that they hooked their Xbox to, ping pong table a bedroom and a nice bathroom. We enjoyed the town of Leavenworth and the skiing at Stevens pass. Both destinations were only half hour drives from the cabin.

All the comforts of home. Very nice setting. Only wish it had a hot tub. I am afraid of spiders and found this place very clean. Teens loved having the flat screen in the basement. The squeaky floors wake you up though and the toaster didn't work well, but lovely setting, spacious and peaceful. Love the ping pong.

We have rented cabins on Fish Lake from Comfy Cabins for ten years or so now and have found nothing but super customer care and support. All the cabins have been clean and well supplied. In the Spring I rent for a fishing get-away with the boys (great fishing) and in the Winter I rent for our family gathering. I will continue to rent from Comfy Cabins and may try something on the river next year for a change. Thanks again for a fantastic time.

I apologize that your had to walk down. The driveway was plowed however. I think at times people assume because there remains a layer of snow/ice on the driveway after plowing, that it was not plowed, but the process does not remove all remnants of the snow but takes it down to a thin layer, then we sand it for traction. There is also sand kept at the cabin for use if needed during your stay due to refreezing or what have you. I realize this is a fairly common misconception when people who do not live in snowy areas come to visit and I am sorry that you were not clear on this fact. I know it is late now, but we are always available to answer questions and guide you if things are questionable and not what you expect, most often we can help and resolve issues very quickly while on site. I hope you will consider coming back again, we would love to have you return and possibly see what the lake has to offer in other seasons as well.

Darn, not sure why someone would unplug items like that but glad it was working once plugged back in. I think people bring electronic games etc to use and do not put things back as they were, I know I am quite challenged in those things and would not be able to get it all back to normal if it was on me to do. We love the Otter and look forward to coming back. Some constructive observations are: Dishes in cupboards were dirty, dryer was packed full with previous occupants towels, etc,upstairs bathroom mirror was falling out, no matches for fireplace. Everything else was great, look forward to coming again.

Hmmmmm, that does not sound like a good way to start a vacation and not the way our guests generally find the cabin upon arrival. I know that from time to time guests wash dishes by hand (that is all I can really assume) and they are not clean enough maybe when they get placed back. It is part of the normal routine of our cleaners to be watchful of that but can be hard to see all of these items. My apologies, that is not what we hope for and do not want to see happen. The items in the dryer: there are times that a dryer is very slow or we are very busy and the staff may have to leave towels still drying, but they are asked to leave a note if there are towels in the dryer. The hazard of that is if a dryer stops before the towels are fully dry and I am guessing that might have been the case. Something we will look at and see if there is a better way to handle these situations. The mirror has been repaired and matches have been delivered. It is nice that despite things that were not perfect, you were able to enjoy your time and the cabin itself. We look forward to having you back again and do thank you for the details.

Very good for two couple with a couple kids. Fishing in the lake was great, although the wind in the afternoon made it a little difficult -- almost all our fish were caught in the morning right off the dock with powerbait

Hello everybody,
My name is Alex and I was one of the guests who rented this property along with Dmitry and his wife. who enjoy fishing very much. We deeply appreciate the attention that the property management provided us with, especially allowing us to stay overtime for no additional charge. However, during the last day of our stay, the electricity went off around 5 a.m., preventing us from fully enjoying our stay. During the power outage, refrigerator and all kitchen appliances were not working and we could not even make a morning cup of coffee. Due to the outage, we were forced to leave much early instead of staying on the property for a few extra hours.

We understand that the issue is not due to a mismanagement and was not a fault of the property owner, however, it is not our fault either. Of course, we are not going to ask for any reimbursement for the day of the outage, but it would be nice to receive a complimentary day if ever decide to rent this particular property for two days, bringing the total stay to three days.

The house was spacious and had all kitchen utensils you would need including some foil and some basic spices. There was enough space for our family to spread out. The dock fishing was great, and we used the fire pit almost every night. The only cleaning issue we had was the top room with the twins smelled of strong urine. Because this place is pet friendly, I bet a prior guest's pet peed somewhere in the room and it still had that strong ammonia smell. I tried airing the room out, but it didn't help. I notified comfy cabins, and they mentioned they would relay to the owners to have it addressed for future guests. There wasn't much that could be done while we were there, so we did our best to manage around it. All other rooms were fine and didn't have that smell. The house is also stocked with many blankets to stay warm when chilly. But we had no problem with the house heat. We drove up to Leavenworth for a half day, but other than that, just fished the lake.

Yikes and double yikes. We will make sure to dig into this and find out where that might be coming from. We do welcome our guests with pets and hope that they will be careful but accidents happen and sometimes it is not apparent right away. We apologize for that and will be addressing what ever needs to be done. Thank you for letting us know and we are deeply sorry that you had experienced that unfortunate situation, I wish that all things could be immediately addressed without any bother to a current guest. We hope that you will consider us again and that you will find that the situation has been remedied.

This is a spacious cabin with appropriate supplies and a fabulous lake-front location and view. The stairs and floors are very creaky/loud however, so guests with different bedtimes/wake times may be woken up very easily. The septic pump is very loud to the bottom floor guests every time a toilet is flushed or when the dishwasher or washing machine are run.

Excellent except for the wind, blew us off the water several times. Caught lots of fish when we could get our pontoons out.
The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. I liked the wider path to the lake too. New windows helped keep the heat in at night.

That pesky wind can definitely put a damper on some people's vacation but we are thrilled to hear that was not an issue for you and you succeeded in catching a bunch of fish. We look forward to having you come back and stay with us again. C

Visited after Christmas, frozen lake with white mountains around, very beautiful.
Great cabin condition and it comes good facilities, good wifi, washer/dryer, nice view.
One note would like to point out is, the oven was not hot enough. I would suggest don't use it to bake anything.
And dont' be too confidence with your 4WD on the driveway in the snow day. However, if your 4wd car also equipped with snow tires, it should be fine.

cabin is cozy and well appointed -- however, as mentioned earlier in a similar survey, the door hinge to the basement came loose, and we ended up taking the door off and setting it aside. Also, the wind was so strong for the first 3 days we could not get on the lake to fish, and the wind kept blowing out the burners on the BBQ. However, that obviously was no fault of the cabin, just Mother Nature doing "it's thing".

We want to thank you for letting us know about the door. We sent someone out immediately afterwards to fix it more securely. Took our grandson for his first Fish Lake trip July, 2015. Had a great time. Otter Chalet is one of the cleaner places we have stayed. Very nicely equipped kitchen. Nice to have a place with newer utensils and appliances. This is a very roomy house with nice bathrooms, which we think is important. Only issue was with the TV in the main living area. Never could get it to work.

Took our grandson for his first Fish Lake trip July, 2015. Had a great time. Otter Chalet is one of the cleaner places we have stayed. Very nicely equipped kitchen. Nice to have a place with newer utensils and appliances. This is a very roomy house with nice bathrooms, which we think is important. Only issue was with the TV in the main living area. Never could get it to work.

If having fun isn't your thing, then Otter Chalet isn't for you. We had such a great time and we are eager to go back for more. Although Fish Lake was frozen, that didn't prevent us from taking some sticks and pucks out there and pass the puck around. The drive way proved to be a challenge with all the snow but the parking up top made up for it. Plus that allowed us to utilize the drive way as a very long hill to sled on. Otter Chalet was more than roomy enough to accommodate our friends for dinner. The game room was perfect and was the go to spot for the kids when we weren't outside having a blast. Look no further than the Otter Chalet for your weekend, week or even month long get away!

The home was clean and fresh upon our arrival. Nice floor plan and comfy beds and furniture. Everything in the cabin was nearly flawless. We enjoyed the ping pong table, amenities, and the private dock. The only negative was the fact that the water in the lake looked very dirty near the shore. I'm not sure why that was, but there was a giant layer of gunk floating on the top of the lake near the dock. Since we were planning on swimming in the lake this was a bit of a downer (no one really wanted to get sick trying to swim in it). But, the property itself was spectacular!

The cabin is in an isolated location and is very peaceful. Also Fish Lake does not have many speedboats so canoeing is quite pleasant. One downside to the location is that it was difficult to get the canoe down the narrow path from the cabin to the lake. We later discovered that there is a private beach nearby which guests at the cabin can access. So we used this beach to take the canoe out. The rental agency was very responsive in answering my questions.

All the comforts of home. Very nice setting. Only wish it had a hot tub. I am afraid of spiders and found this place very clean. Teens loved having the flat screen in the basement. The squeaky floors wake you up though and the toaster didn't work well, but lovely setting, spacious and peaceful. Love the ping pong.

We had a great time here. Very peaceful and so nice to just hang out and lounge. The guys went fishing and the bite was a little slow and it was very windy, but we did get one day where the lake was glass and that was wonderful! Our kids had a great time fishing and exploring and playing ping pong! The place smelled a bit funky when we came in, but we opened the doors and it aired right out. Probably just because there have been pets there previously, I'm guessing. The property management comapny was easy to work with and thorough and answered all of our questions. Thanks!

First off the management company was a dream to work with and the cabin itself was cute, clean (not the most comfortable beds though) and had a great dock. The disappointment was that there were no kayaks or canoes or anything to help utilize the dock and the lake -you had to pack all your own stuff in. After staying at places like Seabrook that have bikes and hot tubs and sand toys and other things to make your stay more enjoyable this was definitely a bit on the bare bones side.

We have rented cabins on Fish Lake from Comfy Cabins for ten years or so now and have found nothing but super customer care and support. All the cabins have been clean and well supplied. In the Spring I rent for a fishing get-away with the boys (great fishing) and in the Winter I rent for our family gathering. I will continue to rent from Comfy Cabins and may try something on the river next year for a change. Thanks again for a fantastic time.

We had a wonderful time at this lake front cabin. Amazing views of the surrounding Cascade Mountains and Fish Lake. Great location with the Midway Country store close by and The Cove Resort with boat ramp and parking 5 mins. away. The fishing was Awesome, exclaimed our 8 year old Grandson. We wil definitely come back. Kellie was exceptionally helpful with landing the reservation for us. Thank you for a great experience.
