I recently stayed at this Airbnb and overall had a great experience. The only hiccup was with the directions, as the Airbnb button direction sent me to the wrong address (this was an Airbnb issue which was resolved immediately), adding an extra two hours to my journey , make sure to double check where you heading .However, once I arrived, the place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor jacuzzi was a highlight, especially during snowy weather. Despite the initial confusion with directions, I highly recommend this place for those seeking a peaceful retreat far from the crowds."

The place is about 34 min away from Leavenworth but it’s definitely worth it. The road leading to this place were always well kept. The first morning we were here it snowed and my daughter got to slide down a slope nearby the area and my parents was able to take a walk around. Our 2 dogs also really enjoyed the snow. The place is full of amenities; hygiene products, coffee, kitchen utensils. We enjoyed it so much we’ll definitely be coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. My kids loved the hot tub and the little playground. All the amenities made us feel like we were staying at our personal mountain retreat. It’s a bit more of a drive to downtown Leavenworth than we expected (windy mountain roads) but pretty close to Lake Wenatchee. We’d consider visiting here again!

Old Time Charm!

This was the perfect little getaway for the weekend to explore Leavenworth! The cabin has an old time charm but many notable upgrades. The host was very communicative and helpful if we had any issues! We brought our teenage daughter and there were tons of movies and board games. We also brought our two dogs! I highly recommend abiding by the leash rule that the host has in place- our dogs are highly trained but the neighbors do not leash their dog and it’s NOT friendly towards other dogs. Luckily ours were leashed and we were able to avoid any issues because of that. The road to the house gets pretty icy so if you’re coming for a winter retreat, make sure you have 4WD! Lol. We had a lovely weekend and the hot tub is the perfect touch.

Cute little cabin not too bad of a drive to Leavenworth. Had two of my dogs with us and they loved the space. Hot tub was an added bonus! Couches were very comfy and everything was fairly clean. Little dusty, but would definitely stay again.

The large windows in this room look out at a serene nature scene and let the beautiful light in. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and utensils. We had a great time playing board games and watching movies. Leavenworth is about a 30 minute drive from the cabin. Would stay here again. 🙂

Large, nice cabin; very well stocked. It is about 40 minutes from Leavenworth. A small grocery store in the area sells amazing huckleberry waffle cone ice cream. There is a nearby pond, so bring mosquito spray. We enjoyed our visit and imagine it would be amazing in the snow.

We had a nice stay at this cabin - ample space for 5 people and we loved the wood stove and hot tub. Kitchen was well equipped with dishes, cookwear and most spices. Was glad to see a grill outside but wished that was in the description since we didn’t buy certain groceries assuming there wasn’t a grill. Definitely a little bit of a hike to Stevens and Leavenworth but the house is great for a quiet weekend in nature

Staying at Pine Tree Cottage was a memorable experience for our family. During the drive, we enjoyed the beautiful mountain scenery as we made our way to Leavenworth. We found ourselves in a quiet wooded area with the sounds of Wenatchee River in the distance. The home was surrounded in lush green grass and we found a one of a kind 2 story playhouse for the kids to enjoy. The wrap around deck had inviting furniture to relax on which was perfect for drinking coffee & soaking up the scenery. On the backside we had a very easy to use Jacuzzi that had customizable settings to adjust temperature, jets, and a mood light. Inside we found beautiful bedrooms each thoughtfully decorated with its own unique charm. The living space gave off a sense of grandness with floor to ceiling windows & warm natural light. Our 3-day stay happened to coincide extreme heat in the Leavenworth area, so instead of hiking, we holed up in the cabin -- and thoroughly enjoyed it. The open kitchen is well-stocked, there are plenty of games and interesting books, and everything was clean. The cabin is in a remote location, about 30 minutes from Leavenworth, remote enough to see a zillion starts and catch the Perseid meteor shower. Highly recommended.

Located about halfway between Leavenworth and Plain, this house was the perfect spot for a Father's Day weekend with my kids, husband, and my parents (and our little dog). It's on a good-sized lot with a large front yard, wrap-around deck, hot tub, swing set, and the cutest two-story play house that makes me wish my kids were still little enough to have wanted to play in it! The drive through the neighborhood to the house follows the river, and although there are neighbors close by, it really felt secluded. The house was spotless when we arrived, and it was fully stocked with anything and everything we could have needed during our stay. Would love to stay there again in the future

We had a great time at Pine Tree! Like the other reviews say, it truly has everything you need. We would love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the rest of what the area offers. Hiking without snow boots/shoes in March wasn't doable unless at lower elevations (we did have a great hike at Peshastin State Park). We also spent a few days skiing at Stevens Pass. The cabin was a little more out of the way than we would have liked for our crew, but if you want to hunker down and venture out less often, this is your place for sure!

We had never been to the Leavenworth area before and this was the perfect spot if you like the outdoors! Agree with others that the photos do not do justice, it is much more cozy and inviting in person. The home was also decorated for Christmas including a lovely tree, which was such a nice surprise during the holiday season.
- Super clean
- Privacy but not isolated
- Well stocked (cooking equipment/utensils, a few spices, extra blankets, linens)
- EVERYTHING in top working order
- Heavenly view from windows
- Nice mud room for use after hiking, skiing, sledding - space to get things off and drying.
- easy to use TV/Netflix service
- You DO NEED 4 wheel/all wheel to get up the road to the home in snow, they are not kidding.
-Fantastic playhouse/swing for kiddos.

Leavenworth is a bit of a drive (30 minutes) but the town of Plain is close by and the hardware store there was our main stop for sleds (sled hill at Lake Wenatchee State Park was a blast and 20 minutes away), coffee, and anything we forgot. Tons of XC skiing and even skied up and down River Road the first morning after a snowfall. Leavenworth was charming but too crowed for our taste during the pandemic. We did enjoy the lights and picked up some togo food from a couple great restaurants.

It was a very nice home, it was a quite a ways out of town, but we found an alternate route that wasn't so windy to get into Leavenworth. House was very well stocked and everything was clean. I have had issues with past rentals smelling like their animals, and this one did not thankfully. Would highly recommend a stay here. We went to the Eagle Creek Winery which was just down the road for a tasting, it was very nice. Did a walk by the river, the colors on the river were stunning, there was no real public access down to the water, but still nice.

I stayed here with my 2 teenage sons and one of their best friends as well as we brought 1 big dog. I was searching for a house big enough to accommodate us all. This house was perfect for 4 people. It was very very clean! The hot tub was amazing. It did shut off on us a few times, and after texting management, we were able to use the small circuit box on the side of the house near the hot tub to reset it. After one reset the hot tub stayed at 106- so I'm not sure what was going on there- we left the lid off for 30 min or so and it went down to 104 eventually. The kitchen was very accommodating- it had all the dishes we needed to cook with. There were a few spices available as well. Also the key is on the wall by the sliding door for the hot tub. Wifi was spotty at times but management called in to have the company reset it- then it worked fine. The only thing I forgot was cooking spray and the kitchen didn't have it- so making waffles in the waffle maker didn't work out, so we made pancakes instead. The nearest grocery store is only 7 min away but it is a small town one in Plain, WA. Before we arrived at the house, we stocked up at Safeway on River Bend RD in Leavenworth and then drove the 24 mile (30-35 min) drive to the house. We went whitewater rafting and horse back riding all off of Chumstick Highway (15-20 min from the house) on our 2 full days. We took walks with the dog at night and in the mornings and I had my coffee (I brought my own k-cup pods- but they had some complimentary ones available) on the deck in the mornings too. We brought a dog run (with stakes and line) to tie the dog up as needed as well as we brought our own kennel for inside the house. The house is well maintained and very cozy as well as rustic and elegant at the same time. (bring bug spray for the evenings- we forgot). Leavenworth shops are open 10-6 so we went there three times total. We would love to return to this cabin in the woods and we appreciated the hospitality!

Pine Tree Cottage did not disappoint. The home was crisp and clean upon arrival and it was well stocked. Except for going on a river float, we never left the cabin. There is lots of room for yard games and having leisure time on the deck. It was a little farther from town than I anticipated but well worth it. We will be back!

One thing I would have to say is the welcome book needs to be updated because there is not a code for hot tub it's a key on the wall. There is not surround sound receiver . The down fall of the house no curtains so the thin blinds allow the sun in early. The train that is near by sometimes you can hear the whistle early in the morning. The last downfall was the sprinkles going off at 5:30 in the morning you can hear it hit the house in the downstairs bedroom. We did enjoy our stay. The kids really loved the big playhouse.

Pine Tree Cottage is a magical cabin in the woods! We enjoyed taking walks in the snow, hot tubbing, and sitting by the warm fire with our friends. The cabin is roomy and fully equipped with kitchen items, games, movies, and books for everyone. It is very clean and homey with comfortable couches and lovely private bedrooms and large bathrooms. We loved the privacy and peacefulness being on a private road near the river. We did the sleigh ride and dinner at Mountain Springs lodge just minutes away and had a wonderful time. We can’t wait to return to Pine Tree!

Our stay was great ,only problem was getting the proper WI-FI hookup , for one day had no service with our phones, which was bad cause 1 of our guest returned home for not being able to get find where cabin was and not having service to get a hold of others in party. Only other is back deck needs to be possibly redone , few place where boards are not very sturdy, But overall a great house ,lots of room and just beautiful.

We are so sorry to hear that your guest turned around. We provide all of the pertinent driving details to the person who makes the reservation to share with any guests, and ask that guests secure this information either in a print out or on thier phones prior to departing home (it can help to take a photo of the directions in case of poor coverage) because being in the mountains, the service with different carriers and just being in the woods, can be spotty in places. We would have been happy to assist if they had called us. That really bums us out to hear this after the fact. We are very careful about providing step by step instructions and ask that GPS is not used for these reasons. My wife and I got away for the weekend together and had an amazing time. The cabin had just about everything we needed. It was a bit of a drive from Leavenworth but not too far for a day trip. Snow was beautiful & Hot tub was nice.

Pine Tree Cottage was in a beautiful setting, lovely cabin with a comfortable layout. My guests and I’s complaints: the drive was MUCH further then we anticipated! The description was a bit deceiving, we were under the impression it was right outside of Leavenworth town. It took us over 40 minutes to get there from the town center. The drive was also a bit treacherous, the booking claimed the driveway could be a challenge but it was at least the last 10 minutes after a long highway drive that were difficult through the rough weather. Also the beds were horribly uncomfortable. There’s no other description I could give those except that we all woke up sore after bad nights sleep. That was disappointing. Other then these two things we did have a nice time. The cabin has all the accommodations we needed. I would recommend giving a detail description as to where the location actually is and I would upgrade the mattresses or possibly at least mattress toppers for more comfort.

Looks just like the photos. Well stocked kitchen! I can't imagine missing any kitchen utensil or gadget, they had everything. Plenty of towels. The surround sound didn't seem to be working, the remote may be broken as it didn't work even with a battery change. But that's an easy fix. Nice clean hottub.The whole place was spotless. Nice updated kitchen appliances too. Fireplace worked great. The wifi name and password are on the back of the wifi box, the ones in the rental agreement arae outdated. the app is current, but MAKE SURE TO SAVE THE ENTRY CODE BEFORE YOU GO. There is no cell service, so if you need to access the app at the door, you're out of luck. No complaints or suggestions, great place to stay. It's about a 15-20 minute drive into Leavenworth, but with the beautiful scenery, who cares, really?

We had a great time, the house had everything we needed for our weekend getaway with friends! We spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the sunshine and sitting in the hot tub. The kitchen had every tool and gadget needed for cooking dinner and the house was roomy and comfortable enough for 3 couples. There were also some fun things there available for kids too.

One of the best looking and well managed Cabins you can rent for a weekend.
NW Comfy Cabins have some excellent properties to choose from. The "Stevens'" Pine Tree Cottage was in immaculate condition, well stocked and easy access to Lake Wenatchee & Leavenworth.
The supplies & amenitied at the cottage made our stay very comfortable and memorable.

The property was great. We loved the cabin, and had a great time. But the jacuzzi didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. The water was cloudy and scummy. Disappointing, considering how great the rest of our stay was.

Loved our stay at the cabin. Only thing we didn't enjoy was the bugs inside the cabin. They were everywhere, even on the counters! Someone said they were stink bugs? Not sure. Other then that was amazing!

This is a great, family/kid friendly cabin that's close to Lake Wenatchee and Leavenworth. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything from condiments to all sorts of dishes and kitchen gadgets.

Our only complaint is that the bedrooms upstairs only have a fan, not AC and that's just not enough to cool them down during the hot summer days. If you have kids that need to nap during the day, be prepared for the upstairs bedrooms to be pretty hot.

We had a great time relaxing at the cabin. We saw two deer right outside the kitchen window one morning ! Beautiful cabin in a great location with amazing scenery.The property was very clean, well stocked and we were very happy with our stay. We will definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway! ??

There was a mix up on the rental in that it was listed as having sleeping accommodations for 8, but it actually slept 6. We improvised and still had a wonderful time. The company credited our account because of their listing mistake. Beautiful home and accommodations.

The property was great! WE did not get in on our first night when we wanted because of traffic coming from Portland but the property was very nice, clean, welcoming and warm. Initially, we couldn't find the property because it was dark and there were no lights on. It would have been nice if we could see the address form the road. The hot tub was perfect and the actual house was really great.

6 adults plus 3 babies, and we were comfortable. Shared space (kitchen, dining and living areas) was big enough to accommodate everyone being inside at the same time.
Not a spectacular view from the property; a handful of other cabins were visible. Not the most secluded/private setting, but not a deal breaker.
Staff were responsive, and offered us another cabin when the oven wasn't working in ours (we kept our reservation and used the BBQ).

We stayed at Pine Tree Cottage during Octoberfest 2013. It was a very nice cabin, although being that it was advertised on over 2 acres, we thought it would be a bit more private than it was. The neighbor was very close. The cabin was very nice and spacious and had all the amenities we wanted for our weekend away. The kitchen was huge and the great room concept was very nice for us all to gather and play games and watch movies. We would recommend this cabin to others for a great vacation spot...although we would probably try to stay closer to Leavenworth next year for Octoberfest.

Advertised as 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, but, in reality was 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It really only sleeps six if they are couples or willing to share a bed. As far as I can tell, none of the sofas make into beds and one of the rules is no sleeping on sofas.

Access to hot tub is difficult (no steps) and there was no cleared area to reach it to enter. Uneven frozen ice/snow made the path treacherous and you pretty much had to go barefoot since there was no place to sit to take off shoes.

Recommend arriving during daylight because it’s very hard to tell where to park. It is a five mile drive to get to the main road where the ski trail complexes are, but once there, there are numerous options within a few minutes, and leavenworth and Stevens are also only 30 minutes away.

Very clean and spacious cabin. Two of the beds are very firm and a little uncomfortable. Also, there was a lack of sharp large knives (for the Turkey). Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and are considering reserving for Thanksgiving 2018.
