During spring/summer/fall months there are no vehicle restrictions.

FOR WINTER GUESTS: Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is a steep/slope grade and when ice/snow are on the ground a 4WD vehicle with traction tires are necessary. We highly recommend carrying chains for all vehicles.

While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book.

Most equipped Airbnb kitchen I’ve seen-place is amazing

The cabin is located in a peaceful location. It is fits perfectly as in the description.

The kitchen was clean and it is fully equipped- I must say is the most equipped Airbnb kitchen I’ve seen.

The bedrooms are comfy and it is nice that there are extra blankets in each room.

It has lots of board games, so you can pass a great time with your family and friends.

The hot tub is clean and fully functional.

One of the tv configuration is outdated and cannot log in, but given that you go to spend time in the nature it doesn’t have a great impact.

Overall, the place is amazing and definitely will go again.

The cabin is very, very rustic with an authentic log cabin structure and cute farmhouse decor. The kitchen is nicely updated. The location was a little farther from Leavenworth than we wanted to be, but we booked last minute. Wenatchee river and lake are close and easy to get to with lots of outdoor activities near by.

Awesome cabin in the woods! Enjoyed the quiet peaceful mornings on the deck with coffee and friends. Very clean, spacious and cozy, with everything you could need. This cabin was a lovely place to stay. About 30 minutes away from downtown Leavenworth and is a windy road (those who get carsick just be aware). This place was incredibly clean and very cozy, which was MUCH appreciated. The beds were relatively comfortable and the cabin felt private, despite being so close to the road. There is a fireplace which was out of order which we were not aware of until arrival, despite the many messages we received leading up to our stay with other info. There is also a dead branch hanging on the tree above the hot tub which could definitely become a hazard with a good gust of wind. Would have loved more blankets to add to the coziness, but overall loved our stay! If you’re looking for a cabin that is comfortable and incredibly clean, this is an excellent stay!

The cabin had all kinds of activities to keep you busy. We played foosball & corn hole, sat the fire, relaxed in the hot tub and went for peaceful walks. It also was very equipped with amenities, especially the kitchen. There were also a lot of board, card, etc games to play. We will definitely be back! The road near the house was super quiet and so was the surrounding area. The king bed upstairs had extremely cozy bedding. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, baking things. Communication with the host was quick and friendly. We can’t wait to come back!!

Our stay was fantastic. The log cabin was exactly as advertised. It is in wonderful shape, inside and out. It sits. in a stand of Ponderosa Pine, which gives it a park-like setting. The interior entirely matched the log cabin exterior. All of the appliances were modern; the kitchen, the climate units, and the bathrooms. I can’t remember if the description mentioned the parlor setting in the loft, which complimented the loft bedroom and bath. It took us awhile to find appropriate hiking trails in relatively close proximity to the cabin. And the wind was up on Lake Wenatchee, so we were unable to rent Kayaks. But we had a great bike ride, and hope to return again soon.

Very cozy cabin for a weekend getaway! The kitchen and dining area flowed nicely outside to the patio and hot tub area which I enjoyed. The road leading to the cabin was extremely windy and rocky (I believe they’re in the process of repaving) which made the 30 minute drive to downtown Leavenworth seem much further. The location of the cabin is directly off this road so it can be a bit noisy if you’re relaxing in the hot tub. Overall very well maintained and spacious cabin for a family weekend or relaxing girls trip. The kitchen and bathroom drawers and shelves were well stocked and felt like I was staying in a friends home.

Absolutely wonderful little getaway

This cabin was extremely comfortable inside and out. The bedrooms were cozy. A couple we were staying with ended up staying in the detached game room and were very comfortable. The loft was surprisingly private despite being open to below. We were genuinely surprised the kitchen! Everything we needed was there. We had even brought up stuff in anticipation of missing a big bowl or good knife. Nope! Plenty of everything. We got our entire party on making dinner one night and everybody had all the tools they needed. This cabin is just secluded enough, and is the perfect distance from Leavenworth in my opinion. You don\'t get any of the hustle and bustle of the tourists, but you aren\'t so remote that feels dangerous. We were easily within reach of key services. We had no need to talk to management at all! The rental was set up perfectly and we had a great time. Electronic communication was clear and friendly. They provided us with plenty of resources and information. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A lovely retreat!

A few friends and I stayed here for my birthday and it was quite a lovely retreat! Close to swim spots but nicely tucked away in the forest. Each bedroom was cozy, the cabin had a family feel, and the warmth of the entire home was so welcoming. My three friends and I had plenty of space to spread out and make ourselves at home. I would happily stay here again!

This is the right spot for a group of friends or a family to hangout and have some time off from the buzz. You can spend time here playing board games, relax in the hot tub, grill and have some nice food and take some much needed time off in the middle of the woods with extreme privacy. The location is also convenient enough to visit nearattractions like Lake Wenatchee, Leavenworth and hiking spots, etc. This property management is very helpful and have built a clear set of instructions to check-in and check-out. Highly recommend this place.

Comfort and quiet! What we would suggest though is, property was difficult to find along the highway. Either a bigger address or some sort of sign would be very beneficial. The upstairs bedroom would benefit also of having curtains. At night it would block out the light that comes through the windows. Overall, very happy with the product.

Lovely cabin! We really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was great, the beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed grilling and eating dinner on the deck! As a cabin on the more rustic side of things, you should be aware that the sounds of voices and footsteps are pretty loud no matter what room you’re in! Also, the cabin is easy access, but this means that you will see a well traveled road from the back deck. It wasn’t too loud, and it didn’t prevent us from seeing turkeys, deer, and other wildlife.

My family have stayed here several times. It’s our favorite cabin in Leavenworth far. It’s a real cabin. Huge wrap around coverd porch, Mukilteo to ole fireplaces, BBQ, hot tub. It’s got it all. In the winter there is even a great little sledding hill in the back yard for the kids! The place is more well stocked then any other place I have stayed at. Little things like, games, spices and basics. Multiple coffee makers and French presses, electric griddles fir pancakes or bacon. The place has 3 bathrooms and showers and a tub. You can easily sleep 10 in beds. The internet is great, the heated floors are a dream! This place has it all. Oh and the firewood pile! There is so much firewood in the ahead. This place is the best. If you can manage to book this place, do it.

Brought several friends up to this cabin for a Leavenworth weekend and the Christmas lights festival. It’s a beautiful cabin. The photographs are accurate and the cabin is prettier in person. Plenty of room to sleep several guests. Very well appointed kitchen with lots of utensils and cookware. Beautiful wraparound deck. If it wasn’t so cold we would’ve definitely taken advantage of that. Three bathrooms was a huge plus. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our time at the Guten Cabin! It was comfy and cozy with the fire place and fresh snow. The hot tub was in a great location but could have used some more water and a little servicing. We used the kitchen a lot and found everything we needed for holiday baking and dinners. There was a major septic system backup (tree roots and old pipes) on Christmas Eve that was resolved the management company fairly quickly, considering the circumstances. The vehicles definitely needed 4x4 to get up the driveway mostly due to the recent weather of snow then rain = ice. It would have been nice to have had some salt for the walk from the driveway to the cabin or for it to have been plowed out more so that you were closer to the house or shoveled better or something like that. It was dangerous for my aging parents to walk that "skating rink" themselves - don't want a broken hip for Christmas... We had a great time and if we're ever back in the area we would love to stay there again!

My family absolutely loved our stay at Guten Cabin! The space was beautiful and the hosts were gracious and helpful. We hope to stay there again! The only issue we had was the cabin's proximity to a rather loud road (not many cars, but they went at a speed fast enough for it to be noticeable)--while it didn't bother me, one of my daughters did have a difficult time sleeping. Outside of that, this well-appointed cabin has it all!

I wonder if a fan in the bedroom might help with that affect. Certainly a good piece of information that we can look into. This cabin and management team was more impressive than expected. The level of detail in “cabin” style decor and amenities are above and beyond. The hot tub is the best part! Only note is that the fourth room can only be accessed from outside and down the steps in the back. It took us over a half hour to find it but totally worth it overall. ???? The only limitation for our group traveling for Octoberfest was that it was a half hours drive time from town.

We had a overall good experience. The location and cabin istself was wonderful. Great hard for sledding. Fully stocked kitchen for baking meals, warm stove very relaxing. There were a few issues..... Leaks dripping on the lower bed from the upper shower made it so we only could she in one bathroom. The couches we're dirty with lots of cracker crumbs. Dishwasher would fall out of counter when loading and unloading. Driveway steep and tough not to slide going up and down. But we enjoyed our stay alot because of all the fresh and falling snow!The cabin is really adorable. Comfortable master bed!!!

We did our annual summer group trip at the Guten Cabin and we loved it. The cabin had everything we need, including toiletries, towels, extra blankets, pillows and plenty of kitchenware. The place was clean and beds were comfortable. The basement was a really cute addition to the place and clean as well. Would rent from NW Comfy Cabins again. Only downside is the driveway is very steep and gravely so it is hard for cars to get in and out of there easily, unless you have a truck or SUV.
Thanks! The owners appreciate the feedback regarding the driveway and apologize that parking was a challenge last summer due to the county road construction project. They have since regraded the driveway and opened up a new lower entry from Chiwawa Loop Rd. that makes it much easier to access. Danny ????

We really enjoyed the cabin with the amenities and the large deck area wrapping around two sides to enjoy summer evenings. We came prepared for mosquitoes, but lucky us - we had no problems! Location is close enough to Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee for daytime summer outings and but still secluded in a residential setting in the trees. We appreciated the attention from the rental management and the discount for the traffic issues caused the local roadwork.

Beautiful, cozy cabin. Ideal for couples. Stayed with a group of 5 and I would say it's a little cramped. Bathrooms are very small. Cleanliness was also not really up to par. Overall the beauty and ambience of the property overtook the few aspects that were lacking.

This was our first time renting a home and not staying at your run of the mill hotel...all I can say is this is the way to go. Having a place to cook our own meals, enjoy each others company and relax in our own hot tub, and not have to share with other guests was such a bonus. We would definitely recommend the Guten Cabin, you can tell the owner takes great pride in sharing their cabin with others ensuring that you are in not in want of anything, as it is well stocked and very comfortable. It was a about a 25 minute drive to Leavenworth, and just a few miles from Fish Lake where we were able to rent a pontoon boat for just around $13 an hour. A great getaway and we look forward to coming back.

Beyond our expectations! This place is amazing and we enjoyed it immensely. The rustic feel with modern amenities are a real bonus. The cozy wood stove and hot tub under the stars are just perfect. We spent time exploring the area cross country skiing with SkiPlain and dinner in town at South (YUMMY), the lights and feel of the Village are incredible. We will definitely be back during the summer with some friends to go hiking, golfing and wine tasting. I highly recommend the Guten Cabin to anyone looking for a real cabin feel and located in an area where there is so many recreational options. Big thumbs up to the Guten Cabin, only downfall, we were only able here for 2 nights. :o) Thanks Comfy Cabins, we will be back.
