Great job Comfy Cabins!! This place is gorgeous, and well worth the drive time to Leavenworth for the quality. Bed was extremely comfortable, AC was amazing, hot tub was great, furniture was relaxing, etc. Absolutely 10/10!! Add on the gorgeous view and ability to float, swim, or fish?! beings this place to 12/10. We will absolutely be back!

Great 3 day stay to decompress.

Great 3 day stay to decompress. We are both hospitality professionals and never stay in hotels on vacation. This cabin was perfect to unwind, stream Netflix shows, and sleep in! We wish the weather had not been so hot (104 degrees) so that we could sit outside and enjoy the river and beautiful surroundings. Needless to say we didn\'t get to use the hot tub either. We were extremely grateful for the HVAC system, fenced in back yard for our pup, and the large, comfy couch and large TV. BUT all said and done, this cabin is perfect for an overworked couple of professionals getting away to rest! The ONLY request would be to upgrade the bed in the main floor bedroom to a KING please! We are both over 6\' tall and the bed was way too small for us. Thanks again for the great stay!

Relaxing, wonderful

We had a great time at Rivers Edge. Beautifully rustic but everything we needed. You couldn\'t ask for a more perfect location - right on the river. It has a small sandy beach too which is a bonus. The weather was very hot when we were there, so we tethered our floaties to the shore and just floated - absolute bliss. The fenced yard was great for our dogs and the hot tub is a real treat. 5 stars all the way. We'll be back for sure.

What an absolute pleasure staying at Rivers Edge, a private cozy cabin nestled next to a breathtaking river, surrounded by lush trees and beautiful scenery. It was truly a delightful experience that my wife and I will always remember. The cabin itself was beautifully designed, with rustic charm and modern amenities that provided all the comfort and convenience one could need. The furnishings were cozy and inviting, with soft blankets and comfortable seating that made us feel right at home. The cabin was also immaculately clean, with every detail taken care of to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. But what truly set this cabin apart was its location. The sound of the river flowing just outside the cabin\'s door was absolutely magical and provided a soothing background that lulled us to sleep each night. Our favorite part of the stay was spending our evenings sitting outside in the hot tub, watching the sun set over the river and listening to the peaceful sounds of nature.

Cabin was spotless clean...everything one would need to feel at home... Including comfy blankets to cuddle on the comfy couch. Bed was really comfy as well....the setting is gorgeous. My only complaint is the doggie area was a dirt pit, a patio for the table out there by the hot tub would really be a welcome addition, to keep ones feet and dogs cleaner...but overall this cabin is wonderful, do not hesitate to book it.

Nice cabin on the river. You have access to the river, but the bank drops into the river when it\'s high like it was this July. Mosquitos were crazy this year so outdoor time was limited. The cabin was a great place to stay near Plain and Lake Wenatchee.

This was a lovely cabin with a gorgeous view of the river. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals. The hot tub was immaculate and we enjoyed that every morning with our coffee! The reason for only four stars is that it is not very private. The neighbors are VERY close- like subdivision close, which was both surprising and disappointing. They were having coffee in the mornings down by the river, so we felt limited because we didn’t want to interrupt their morning. They were right next to us, that was a bummer. Fortunately, the hot tub is on the side of the house, out of the view of the neighbors. As one reviewer mentioned, it is a full 30 minute drive to Leavenworth, on winding roads, but lovely country to look at. So it definitely gives you the feel of being far out in nature. We even saw a black bear next to the driveway as we were leaving! That was pretty amazing!

My family had a great stay at Rivers edge. The home is well stocked and clean; however the yard seemed a bit neglected and overgrown. The location is 35 min from downtown Leavenworth and 20 min to Lake Wenatchee State Park. If you\'re looking for some seclusion on the river, it\'s a perfect location for you!

This cabin was a great place to spend some time relaxing by the river! The setting is beautiful, the views of the water from the house are lovely and the small private beach was perfect for summer lounging. Super dog friendly (our pup loved playing in the river and hanging out in the fully fenced yard), well stocked and very private feeling even with other houses nearby. It’s a great location that’s close enough to Leavenworth if some time in town is on the agenda but far enough away to avoid all the tourist bustle if you want peace and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay!

This place is well worth the visit! I had a relaxing long weekend of contemplation, board games, and just plain chilling. The rooms are comfortable, and the hot tub is amazing. The best feature is obviously the river. It is soothing to listen to, and watching it flow by is very relaxing.

Ten out of five stars! This place is amazing. You can see the river from almost every room in the house. The cabin is cozy, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. It felt like we were staying at a place someone loves and who cares about sharing their place with others. As a mom of a young toddler, I really appreciated the low-lying fence that gave my kiddo room to explore but didn’t obstruct the incredible view. Communication from NW Comfy Cabins was superb. They emailed, texted, and dropped important information in AirBnB. House rules are clear in the cabin binder and include suggestions of what to see in the surrounding area. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Every day here was just what I was looking for to celebrate fall in the pnw. As a work retreat with a friend, we were able to utilize the two tables and space to accomplish our work without disturbing each other. We loved taking walks in the woods, playing with the dogs in the river and relaxing at night in the hot tub. Only downside, although it was comfortable, the second bedroom was not able to be private (no door) and you could not walk around in it. I have no complaints about the comfort of it and would happily stay here again.

Everything was great! We split some wood from the wood pile and had a fire in the insert most nights. Used the spa a couple times. It’s a wonderful getaway in the woods and it was nice to unplug from technology. The internet and tv went out on our first night and it was great! We had a fire, lit candles and listened to music. We rebooted the router the next day and all was good. The No dishwasher was a bit of a struggle since we put just about everything in our dishwasher, but it wasn’t to bad washing dishes by hand. The neighbors weren’t friendly, but we expected that when we saw a big sign on the beach that said no trespassing beyond this point! Like people are really going to walk into their yard! Oh well, we only saw them one night, so that was good. Great place, would highly recommend.

Clear directions, well-equipped comfortable space, beautiful scenery very private. We had a lovely stay. We did wander onto nearby private property unknowingly. My husband, two kids, and our dog spent a long weekend at this cabin and really enjoyed it. The beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was great, and this cabin is right on the river. The water was cold, but we were able to splash around on the riverbank. Overall, the cabin was really nice and comfortable for our family.

Cabin location is cool on the river. Fence is too low
For the dog, and the fireplace inside had a sooty smell that permeated everything from my clothes to sinuses.

Shower was new and amazing. Beds were very nice,
And kitchen could benefit from a dishwasher—especially during a pandemic.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin itself was so cozy, and we felt right at home. It was about a 30 minute drive to town, but the drive there was so beautiful that we didn’t mind the distance! I would highly recommend this property for a fun, family getaway!

We did have a bit of an issue with the fireplace — the smoke filled up the entire living room and kitchen even with the flue open and clear of any blockage. Not sure what the issue was, but we kept the heater on and that worked just as well!

Two things: Drain in the bathroom sink is slow and needs to be cleaned. The stair to the second level is very steep, however a top hand rail needs to be added as currently it is very hard to grasp. Overall it is a wonderful location and a great experience.

This river's edge cabin is on the rivers edge and it has everything you will need to be out of the city.except food!you will not want to leave.the yard is fenced in sk your fur baby wont escape. The hot tub was the perfect temp to melt away all our problems and stress for the 2 nights we stayed.The beds were spot on. We were able to watch the seahawks on t.v.play in the snow.sit by the little outdoor fire pit. I am 100% sure I will stay here again.very romantic and private.since my stay I've told everyone to chose this spot for their next getaway. Bonus it snowed while we stayed!!

Hard to find. Other than that it was great. Relaxing and had everything we needed. Really comfy bed and linens.

We do offer step by step instructions and ask our guests not to use GPS. For some reason the map on GPS is not nearly as helpful as the written instructions that we provide. but that is a hard habit to break and GPS is too tempting. The view is beautiful with the river right there. They had everything we needed. It is a comfortable cabin and the fenced in yard was great for the dog. The kids enjoyed the beach since the weather was fantastic! The fireplace needs a cleaning- I think the flue is blocked and the smoke detectors didn't work- but other than that it was perfect!

Thank you for your feedback and comments, we have certainly checked into these items for assurance that all is working well and there are no issues with either. I am not sure what made you feel that there was a problem, maybe the damper was not opened and you were not clear on how to do that, but it is working and functioning and we are very sorry for any bother that might have caused you. They smoke alarms do not necessarily go off unless there is a certain amount of smoke, and they went off with our tests using the button and direct smoke. For any future stays, please be sure to reach out and let us know if there are questions of any nature, so that we can make your stay as comfortable and cozy as possible. All in all it is a beautiful location, just has a neighbor that is too close. The house itself was very clean, but the outside needed landscaping upkeep badly. Also, would be best to inform guests that sprinklers will be going in the morning, so they can either park farther up the driveway or be sure to close vehicle windows. There were ants in the bathroom, and when the wind blew, which it does frequently, the old smoke smell filled the house quickly. Not good for someone with breathing issues. The TV was easy to work in the living room, but didn't have the correct remote to use the one in the bedroom. The screen on the loft window was laying on the roof, and as they didn't fit well in the doors downstairs the bugs had clear sailing to come in the house. There was a light burned out in the kitchen and over the bar counter. Someone had not cleaned up after their dog by the river. Other than that it was very pleasant, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Good news, there has been a good deal of new landscaping done this year. It was done right after your stay as a matter of fact. very nice and secluded. just the right amount of sunny and shady areas to enjoy the beautiful view. great access to the river right out the front door.the mattress was a little hard, but otherwise very comfortable furniture and nice amenities.great water pressure, which is something that seems to be lacking in a lot of
cabins we have visited. we liked it so much, we booked it again in August.

We loved it. But I think the house keepers could clean better there was hand prints on the wall in the bedroom downstairs and on the wall at the bottom of the stairs and on the wall going to the bathroom.some of the dishes where dirty too.I'm a house keeper myself and I cleaned the house before I left and think that I should get the house keeping fee back cause it looked better than when I got there. I think the house keepers should think about if it was them renting it how they would expect it to look like.

I couldn't believe this place was available in late July nearly last minute. This is one of those properties that actually lives up to the pictures. It truly is right on the water and is one of the few properties that has a decent beach to access the river. The location is super quiet and very peaceful. There is no road noise or any other besides nature that I could hear. The cabin itself was super clean and very well taken care of. NWComfyCabins was very easy to reach with any questions.

Some things I wish could be improved were: the floors throughout the entire house were VERY loud and woke me up when someone walked by, there were mosquitos and yellow jackets around which meant most of our time was inside, I wish there had been a zero gravity chair or a more comfy lounge chair to put by the window.

Those are all nitpicks. I loved this property and definitely want to go again.

This cozy cabin has an absolutely breathtaking view right when you walk in the door! Hot tub in the snow is great! Loved the small fenced in yard for the dogs too! We did notice lots of stink bugs throughout our stay, which was not terrible, but a little creepy when they kept popping up! I also noticed many dirty dishes in the cabinets, probably from previous visitors not hand washing well. It really is a beautiful location and a cute little cabin though!

The rental company however, was slightly off-putting. When booking I asked about snow conditions (meaning the driveway and backroads getting to the property from the highways). I got a somewhat rude response from the woman who called me saying, “well have you ever been to the mountains before?” Turns out they have a local person plow the roads and driveway, which I later learned from an email the company sent a day or two prior to our stay, but this was not communicated during our phone call when booking. I didn’t appreciate that one phone call, but overall it didn’t affect our stay.

We are happy to hear you overall enjoyed your stay. We deeply apologize for the dishes and your response and that you felt it was rude, that is never an intention of our staff. Danny

We came for the snow, and it was true winter wonderland around! The cabin itself was very cosy, nicely furnished, lovely wood fireplace, fantastic view of the river.
